Location

I work exclusively on location. This means that I will consult with you either by phone or email to choose the right location for your session. When outdoors, I have a preference for areas with lots of visual texture; crumbling stones, old buildings, grassy fields and overgrown gardens, winding roads and picket fences are among my most favorite.

What to Wear

Before your session, I will consult with you either via phone or email on clothing choices to help decide which look is right for your photographs.

Some ideas to get your creative

juices flowing for kids :

Tutus or pettiskirts

Brightly colored tights

Worn jeans & old skool band tshirts

Plain white singlet or black shirt & jeans

Classic button-up top and khakis

Storybook or oldies outfits

Knitted hats or any hats

Colorful umbrellas

Sports themed props (eg ball, mitt)

Neck ties/scarfs (cute on buff infants!)

The ideas are endless. We can work together beforehand on ideas that suit you.

For the feet?

Most of the time I will suggest bare feet! Summer time of course! In the colder months and if you prefer shoes, I suggest something plain with only one color and no emblems/logos/cartoon characters to distract the eye. If your choices are limited, go plain.

For a family or couple?

Please consider dressing in harmonizing color tones or similarily themed outfits. This does not mean you have to be matchy matchy, just think in terms of wearing the same pallette of colors. {Families/Couples: A combination of solids and patterns work well.}
